Blizzard Greenberg PLLC trial lawyer Anna Greenberg has been named the 2026 Young Baylor Lawyer of the Year, one of the law school’s highest honors for alumni under age 45, recognizing careers marked by exceptional achievement, leadership, integrity and service.
The award is presented annually to those who have brought distinction to the legal profession and Baylor Law School through sustained professional excellence and meaningful civic engagement. Past recipients include former Texas Supreme Court Justice Priscilla Owen, Austin Mayor and former Texas state senator Kirk Watson and U.S. District Judge Amos Mazzant.
“Anna possesses a rare combination of trial skill, emotional intelligence and unwavering integrity,” said Ed Blizzard, founder of Blizzard Greenberg and fellow alumnus. “She prepares relentlessly, advocates fearlessly and never loses sight of the human being behind the case. That is what makes her exceptional.”
Ms. Greenberg’s practice spans high-stakes and complex personal injury matters, focusing on sexual assault, invasive recording and corporate negligence.
Her work includes a landmark $44.6 million jury verdict against Hilton Hotel Management on behalf of a sexual assault survivor, litigation involving allegations of child sexual assault tied to Houston’s NRG Stadium, claims against Massage Envy and Dollar Tree alleging nationwide systemic safety failures and litigation involving hidden cameras at Memorial Hermann Hospital.
While Ms. Greenberg is widely recognized for her courtroom accomplishments, clients often point to her compassion and steadiness during deeply personal legal battles.
“From the moment I started working with Anna, it was clear she wasn’t just checking boxes on a case file – she actually cared about me,” one client said. “She was thorough in a way that gave me real confidence, exploring every angle so nothing was left to chance.”
Those closest to Ms. Greenberg say that commitment to clients has defined her since the earliest days of her legal career.
“Even in law school, Anna stood out because of how deeply she cared about others,” said Anna’s husband, Matt Greenberg, a name partner at trial boutique Greenberg Streich, whom she met at Baylor Law School. “That compassion still defines the lawyer and person she is today.”
Ms. Greenberg earned her J.D. from Baylor Law School in 2014 and remains active in mentoring young lawyers and supporting initiatives focused on survivor advocacy.
