Coatue, a leading global investment firm known for its deep research-driven approach to technology investing, today announced that Coatue Innovative Strategies Fund (CTEK) is now available on CAIS, the leading alternative investment platform for financial advisors.
The addition expands access to Coatue’s public-private investment approach across the CAIS platform, which connects more than 62,000 financial advisors at over 2,000 wealth management firms to a curated range of alternative investment and capital market strategies.
“Coatue has spent decades at the intersection of technology and investing, and CTEK reflects that depth across both public and private markets,” said Nathan Urquhart, Co-President and Head of Strategy at Coatue. “Artificial intelligence is redefining how industries operate and where the most compelling investment opportunities exist, and advisors and their clients should have a sophisticated way to access that opportunity.”
CTEK is a tender offer fund that provides exposure to innovation-driven companies across public and private markets that seeks to manage risk responsibly. The strategy launched in 2025 with a $1 billion anchor commitment from Bezos Expeditions and DFO Management, LLC, the family investment offices of Jeff Bezos and Michael Dell.
“Technology is redefining every corner of the economy, and the investment opportunities that follow are spanning both public and private markets in ways we’ve never seen before,” said Brad Walker, Co-President of CAIS. “We’re thrilled to welcome Coatue to the CAIS platform, bringing one of the most respected, technology-focused investment firms directly to the independent advisors we serve. This collaboration enables advisors to provide their clients with access to this innovation cycle with the same sophistication as the world’s leading institutions.”

AI is an emerging technology and, as a result, is subject to a higher level of risk and uncertainty than more established industries/sectors. The AI Companies, including potential Coatue investments, could be adversely affected if AI adoption is slower, more limited or less successful than anticipated. Risks to the extent, pace and success of AI adoption include, but are not limited to the following: o The legal and regulatory landscape surrounding AI technologies is rapidly evolving and uncertain, including in the areas of intellectual property, cybersecurity, privacy and data protection. Compliance with new or changing laws, regulations or industry standards relating to AI may impose significant operational costs on AI Companies and may limit the extent, pace and success of AI adoption more generally. Failure to appropriately respond to this evolving landscape also may result in legal liability, regulatory action, or brand and reputational harm and have a material adverse effect on particular AI Companies in which Coatue may invest.
Demand for AI technologies will also depend on a number of other factors including, without limitation, the ability of AI Companies to produce AI-related products and services that create demonstrable efficiencies and cost-savings for their end-users; and the ability of end-users to make substantial investments in AI technologies.
